Christmas tree worms decorating a brain coral It has been far to long since we have been to the island of San Salvador in the Bahamas (though Mike did sneak a trip in at the end of 2019). Due to COVID, we cancelled our January 2021 class, but are gearing up for our J-term 2022 trip back to the island to immerse ourselves in marine ecology. With our vaccine cards in hand (and maybe a bit of apprehension), we are beginning our preparations to make another life-changing trip back to Gerace Research Center.
