Our First Bar Experience

A few people decided to go see the sunrise this morning before breakfast. And after a yummy breakfast of pancakes and bacon, we headed to the truck where Amy showed everyone her likely broken pinky toe and then Mike taped it to another toe.

We headed out to Fossil Beach, where we soon saw that the waves were a little too large for us to safely survey the fossilized coral. Mike tried to evade the waves by having us go to the other side of the fossilized beach. The waves were larger and misted if not soaked everyone.

Eventually Mike called it quits saying “no data is worth dying for”. We got back at about 10:30 and that gave us plenty of time to finishes figure analyses and take naps before lunch.

We had class a little earlier today and went over our figure analyses for the day before we headed to dinner - meatloaf and mashed potatoes were on the menu.

Tonight was the night that we decided to check out the local bar, so we all got ready and brought our headlamps and windbreakers and made our way to the Short Stop, which was a 40-minute walk from the station. We played a couple rounds of Cards Against Humanity, had local Bahamian beer, and listened to some authentic Bahamian music.

Sincerely,

Greta and Ingvild
